Class II, Type B1 Biological Safety Cabinet

The NuAire LabGard Class II, Type B1 Biological Safety Cabinet is the only 70% exhaust/30% recirculated Biological Safety Cabinet engineered with a single piece, low profile configuration that is all stainless steel. The all stainless steel construction of both the external shell and all internal ducts and plenums results in cabinet surfaces that are chemical resistant and easily cleaned and decontaminated for a long life. The Class II, Type B1 cabinet may be used for work with minute quantities of volatile toxic chemicals and trace amounts of radionuclides and exceeds all NSF Std. No. 49 requirements.

The patented dual all-negative pressure rear duct design eliminates the need for two filters and places the positive pressure contaminated supply plenum within a negative pressure zone, even down to the HEPA filter interface with the cabinet shell. This unit also features a microprocessor driven electronic control panel (Touch Link System) which handles all essential functions of the cabinet.

Class II, Type B2 Biological Safety Cabinet :

The NuAire LabGard Class II, Type B2 Biological Safety Cabinet combines the ventilation of a fume hood with the protection of a Biological Safety Cabinet.  It is constructed in all stainless steel and is engineered as a 100% total exhaust hood with no internal recirculation.  This unit also features an internal microprocessor controlled air flow system which controls and displays information on the airflow within the cabinet and the HEPEX supply air providing a "Zero-Leak" bio-clean environment.  The NuAire NU-435 is the ONLY UL/UL-C Classified Biological Safety Cabinet that has been evaluated for use with flammable liquids and can be safely used with chemicals such as radioactive isotopes and radionuclides.
