To comply with USP 797 regulations (developed to aid pharmacies and hospitals in the safe compounding of pharmaceuticals and minimizing infections transmitted to patients through pharmaceutical products) NuAire presents a full line of innovative Pharmacy Isolators.  Each type of Pharmacy Isolator is designed to protect the pharmacist working with various types of materials they  compound and method used to do so.  The three different types of Aseptic Isolators are Compounding Aseptic Pharmacy Isolators, Compounding Aseptic Containment Pharmacy Isolators and Clean Room Products. 

Compounding Aseptic Pharmacy Isolators are used when compounding sterile products (CSP).  It is important that this type of isolator protects the product by minimizing contaminants in the air within the work zone.  NuAire offers a Pharmagard NU-PR-797 Positive Pressure Recirculating Barrier Isolator  which utilizes positive air pressure maintained within the work area relative to the interchange compartment to minimize airborne contaminants. 

Compounding Aseptic Containment Pharmacy Isolators are used when compounding hazardous pharmaceuticals.  With this type of isolator a high level of protection is achieved ensuring that chemotherapy agents and other hazardous materials do not escape into the work area.  To accomplish this NuAire has designed two Negative Pressure Barrier Isolators which maintain negative air pressure in the work area relative to the interchange compartment. 

Clean Room Products are used when compounding sterile products must be performed in a clean room environment or it is done using an automatic preparation machine (TPN).  A full range of custom clean rooms are available to fit any clinical application.  Please contact our main office for more information.
