- Shaking IncubatorsShaking incubators integrate both a shaker and an incubator into one space-saving unit; basically a linear shaker contained inside an incubated enclosure. Oxygen and the proper nutrients combined with optimal environment conditions are key factors during cell growth. Typically, researchers have used a separate shaker inside an incubator in order to provide some form of agitation or shaking to get their culture media the proper oxygen and nutrients needed.
