This MVMT Pro model is designed for use at benches 36”-45.5” high and standing work applications in clinical and research laboratories as well as laboratory use in the science, technology, defense, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage industries. It features a roomy upholstered seat with a 2.5” adjustable depth, a tall adjustable backrest with lumbar support, height- and width-adjustable armrests with adjustable pads on solid polished cast aluminum uprights, a high-profile, Euro-style 28.7” diameter aluminum base with polished top, 22” diameter adjustable footring, and dual-wheel casters which resist movement when the chair is unoccupied. Ergonomic functionality is highlighted by a weight-activated Pro control with 5:1 synchro tilt, forward seat tilt, backrest forward adjustment, micro tension adjustment, control lockout for precision work and an adjustable seat-height range of 24”-33.5”. Upholstery is Grade 2 blue vinyl.

Control Description: Weight-activated control includes 2.5" seat slide which provides functional seat depth from 16.4" to 18.9", pneumatic seat height adjustment, forward seat tilt, smooth and seamless forward backrest adjustment (a BioFit exclusive), and synchronous seat/back recline at 5:1 ratio. Seat/back recline features an automatic weight-adjusted tension mechanism, in addition to manual tension adjustment for fine-tuning and a function to lock into one of four reclined angles.
Base Description: Five-legged, solid cast aluminum base with caster-to-caster diameter of 28.7" and maximum width of 27.4". T-cross-section legs ensure cleanability, and endure test loads of 1.5-2x BIFMA strength requirements. Features standard 50-mm tapered hub (1° 26' 16" (Morse) taper) with gauge line elevation of 113mm from the caster insert plane. The base is cast out of UNI EN 46100 aluminum with a robotically polished top surface to ensure quality and consistency.
Caster Glide Description: Two inches in height, with dual soft-wheels. Casters resist movement when the seat is unoccupied. Plastic collar around caster stem to match base. Standard casters have grey tread.
Arms Description: Solid polished cast aluminum arm upright with arm adjustment mechanism and 3.5" wide x 9" long x 7/8" thick urethane arm pad. Arm pad can be adjusted in three dimensions: 3.5" vertically, 2" front-to-back, and 1" left-to-right for a total armrest width adjustment of 2".
