The 551 Series Semi-Flexible Vacuum-Jacketed Hose is a rugged, high-performance cryogenic hose engineered for use with the 577 CryoWiz™ cryogenic switchover system and the 57V Series cryogenic header, delivering a complete solution for continuous liquid nitrogen supply. Because liquid nitrogen has an extremely low boiling point, even slight heat exposure can lead to rapid boil-off. The hose’s vacuum-jacketed and insulated design creates an effective barrier to heat transfer, helping preserve the cryogen’s low temperature. For added performance and serviceability, the 551 Series includes an SV-9 pump-out port to maintain vacuum integrity over time.
