These units are not intended for common laboratory or room environments that are not designed to be explosion proof. These refrigerators utilize ATEX and non-sparking components for safety. All hazardous location refrigerators meet NFPA and OSHA guidelines for hazardous locations, Class 1, Division II, Group C & D. These units are not equipped with a plug and must be hard wired in conduit to 120VAC power source. Featured on these units is a microprocessor temperature controller and a keyed door lock.
