The new Guardian™ 5000 synthesis kits are designed for safe, clean heating with standard round-bottom flasks. Our goal is to make it easier for chemists to assemble, replace, and maintain experimental setups. The range includes 3 basic kits, each featuring a Guardian™ 5000 hotplate stirrer and a base block compatible with 250 mL, 500 mL, or 1000 mL flasks. Additionally, 18 insert blocks accommodate smaller flasks down to 25 mL.

  • As flask sizes vary, the compact insert blocks help users save costs by avoiding multiple base blocks. Thanks to high-precision machining, inserting and removing them is as easy as building blocks.
  • Benefit from a chemical and solvent-resistant anodized finish, the blocks are durable and easy to clean. No water waste since water baths are not used. Also, there is no need to dispose of used oil.
