Stirling engine technology and helium refrigerant provide efficient cooling with low energy consumption and quiet operation. The top-access swing door uses a compression latch and keyed lock to help protect stored materials. This benchtop ULT freezer features a microprocessor controller with capacitance touch display offering temperature control and audible and visual alarm monitoring. High-density urethane foam and VIP insulation support ultra-low temperature performance in the compact cabinet. The freezer includes rubber feet, 12V backup power capability, and a two-year parts and labor warranty.
