Item#: NU-543The NuAire LabGard ES NU-543 Class II Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinets (airflow 70% recirculating, 30% exhaust) are designed to provide personnel, product and environmental protection while working with low to moderate risk biologicals other than volatile toxic chemicals. The NU-543 biosafety cabinet features an ergonomically designed front access with a 10 degree slope, 10” window access opening, and a flip down control panel; long lasting construction with 16/18 gauge, type 304 stainless steel monolithic shell and a covered back wall insert welded into place creating a double wall construction. This unit was also designed for enhanced performance with a larger motor and a blower with a larger exhaust HEPA and FlowGard digital airflow sensor. The FlowGard system incorporates a blue LED digital display for easier viewing and the nitecare™ night setback mode, which is initiated upon sliding the window closure, the blower will continue to operate at a lower rate to save energy. Lastly, some new optional features include an upgraded base stand design, energy-efficient LED lighting, removable, prop-up work tray, and decorative side panels. Overall, the NU-543 uses microprocessor controls and airflow sensors to monitoring the airflow performance offering a safer approach with more cabinet feedback.
