Plas-Labs 860-CGA/NS Amber Acrylic Desiccator provides controlled storage for light-sensitive research specimens, electronic components, and other materials requiring protection from moisture, dust, and harmful UV exposure. The compact 12 x 12 x 12-inch cabinet features amber acrylic construction to help shield contents from ultraviolet light while allowing users to visually monitor stored materials without opening the door. Its single cubicle includes five shelf positions and two interchangeable perforated shelves to promote effective gas circulation, along with 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch nylon gas connections for maintaining a slight positive nitrogen atmosphere. A built-in hygrometer, spring-loaded sealing clamps, closed-cell gasketing, door guards, and non-slip stacking feet help maintain controlled storage conditions and reliable everyday operation.
