Plas-Labs 861-CGA/NS Amber Acrylic Desiccator provides protected storage for light-sensitive research specimens, electronic components, and other materials requiring a low-moisture, dust-resistant environment. The 12 x 12 x 24-inch cabinet uses amber acrylic to help protect stored materials from harmful UV exposure while still allowing contents to be visually monitored without opening the doors. Two separate cubicles each provide five shelf positions, with four interchangeable perforated shelves supporting effective gas circulation throughout the cabinet. Each cubicle also includes 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch nylon gas connections for maintaining a slight positive nitrogen atmosphere, while a built-in hygrometer, spring-loaded sealing clamps, closed-cell gasketing, and door guards help preserve controlled internal conditions.
