Type 1 water purification systems produce ultrapure water for various applications, including the cultivation of cells, tissue and other microbiological products. Our Type 1 ultrapure water systems from MilliporeSigma use a combination of ion-exchange resins, synthetic-activated carbon, UV oxidation lamps and micro/ultrafilter membranes to produce ultrapure water. Together, these techniques eliminate bacteria, particulates, organic impurities, metallic contaminants and anionic contaminants, reducing the total organic carbon content to <10ppb. We offer a number of Type 1 systems that can be hooked up to your tap water or to another pure water system, depending on your needs
