Item#: 021-190The Rotaphor System 8.0 Pulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis System allows the separation of large DNA molecules, beyond the 50kb limit of conventional agarose electrophoresis. This is made possible through a patented electrode rotor, which projects the electric field at virtually any angle. A homogeneous field is achieved from two main rotors, which are balanced by two sets of secondary electrodes. The unit has been optimized for a range of sizes and generates exceptional, high resolution data.

- Built-in buffer circulation pump connects to an external cooling thermostat for precise temperature control during extended trials
